Project One

Midco Lubricants develops a Multi Functional Racing ATF for use in Midwest Converters Inc. 48 Element Double Row Sprag Assembly.

Prototypes are out, let the testing begin. Scheduled for release in February 2010 Midwest Converters in Rockford, IL. is finalizing testing on their newest sprag assembly for their 10.5 inch, Reactor series Racing Torque Converter. Midwest claims product testing was delayed due to a need for a higher temperature transmission fluid. Midco Lubricants responded to the challenge and prepared a NEW full synthetic made with modified polyolesters. Three types of base oils alone provided a foundation to formulate the new ATF. It will provide an previously unobtainable 585 degree (F) barrier of protection, keeping the new MONSTER SPRAG cool along with providing excellent transmission protection and increased clutch pack and band torque load. The MONSTER SPRAG as it has fondly called, will hold over 1600 flb of torque and is suitable for dragster of all types producing over 3000 HP. Look for this new ATF under the name Midco Label EXTREME TORQUE blue racing ATF . Midco Lubricants has already signed two private label contracts with other racing suppliers under their names and logos. Look for this one, it's a Must Have for 2010.
